According to my dad, at four years old I attended a birthday party where I only knew the birthday girl; I ran into the house, set down my present in the foyer and announced: “HAYLEY BROWN IS HERE!” I’m still usually pretty excited to be wherever “here” is.

So far, some of the “heres” have been Northern California, Southern California, Athens, GA, Southern California again (Fight On, USC ✌️), London, Atlanta, Mexico, Atlanta again, France, Wales, and currently Athens, GA, again (with a lot of driving back and forth to Atlanta).

I’m known for my fun outfits (huge Nuuly girl (referral link here lol)), commitment to bits (especially at Shakespeare On Draught), and karaoke skills (I am a shameless show-off and I will go to karaoke alone because I am a freak).

Sometimes I travel and post about it, but mostly I take pictures and videos that sit in my Photos app wondering if they’ll ever see the light of the algorithm.

I will gladly pay exorbitant amounts of money for really really good food, especially excellent pastries. Luckily I’ve managed to trick a professional baker and pastry chef into loving me/providing me with free pastries and sourdough for hopefully as long as we both shall live. No, but seriously, my day job is in personal finance: I’m a YNAB Certified Coach, passed my Series 65 License Exam last year, and am working on my Certified Financial Planner certification. But I also frequently work as a production assistant on commercial productions in Atlanta with my brother who is a production manager. Oh, and I’m an actor, a voice actor, and occasional stand-up comic. And I’ve never met a craft I didn’t want to procraftinate with. My to-do list is unrealistic and never ending.

Some of my favorite trainings I’ve ever done as a performer include: The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’s Acting Shakespeare and Musical Theatre courses in London; Laugh Lab with Lace Larabee in Atlanta; Groundlings with David Hoffman in L.A.; the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford course; the On the Lot voiceover course with Krizia Bajos of Voiceover Camp in L.A.; the Theatricum Botanicum acting apprenticeship program in Topanga Canyon; and acting classes with Rob Nagle at Antaeus Theatre in L.A.

Some of my favorite projects I’ve ever worked on as a performer include: every Laugh Lab grad show in Atlanta; Twelfth Night, Women Beware Women, and Bachelorette with Mine Is Yours Theatre Company in L.A.; being a human zit in Hero Cosmetic’s Mighty Patch ad campaign; Les MiseraBaristas; every Shakespeare On Draught production I’ve been apart of, but maybe mostly being a messenger riding an uncontrollable unicorn in Titus Andronicus.

I love dogs and cats, but I’m probably more of a cat person if I’m being completely honest.
